Handloom Sarees

Every saree at Nadhi is handloom, and that is the whole point. Handloom means woven by artisans on a loom, not stamped out by a powerloom or printed at scale, and it shows in the drape, the breathability and the small variations that make each piece its own. This collection is our full weave story in one place: Kanchipuram and Maheshwari silk cottons, sheer Chanderi and airy Ilkal cottons, hand-embroidered Kantha, breathable linen and the classic Onam kasavu. If you care about where your saree came from and how it was made, start here, then follow the weave that speaks to you. Shipped across Australia.

What does handloom mean?

Handloom refers to fabric woven by hand on a non-powered loom. Compared with powerloom or print, handloom cloth drapes more fluidly, breathes better, and carries the subtle irregularity of human craft. It also supports weaving communities directly, and every Nadhi saree is chosen for that authenticity.
